Curious about Augmented Reality but not sure where to start? You’re not alone. Whether you've seen face filters on social media, artworks that come to life, or interactive product demos, AR can seem both exciting and intimidating. That’s exactly why I’m hosting AR 4 Beginners in Harare - a hands-on workshop series to help you understand what AR is, what it can do, and how you can begin creating with it.
This free 3-week series is designed for creatives, marketers, students, and anyone who’s interested in learning the fundamentals of AR. You don’t need any technical background—just curiosity and a willingness to explore something new.
What to Expect
Over the next 3 Saturdays (10, 17 and 24 May), we’ll explore different entry points into augmented reality—from social media filters to interactive art and business applications. Each session is structured to give you practical insights, real examples, and a guided path to start experimenting on your own (and you don't have to attend all the workshops).

Why I’m Doing This
My work as an XR designer and educator has shown me the power of AR to transform how we tell stories, showcase art, and engage audiences. But far too many talented people feel excluded from this space because they don’t know where to start or think it’s too complicated.
This workshop series is my way of making AR more accessible—so more people can create, innovate, and reimagine their work using this exciting technology. So if you're interested, make sure you register today, and if you know someone who's interested, share this article with them.
