The Phaphama Book Festival is set to transform the Central University of Technology into a four-day hub of creativity, dialogue, and cultural awakening this October. True to its name - "Phaphama" means "Awaken" - the festival promises an inspiring blend of literature, art, and ideas that celebrates diverse voices while fostering meaningful connections across communities.

A Festival That Goes Beyond Books

Phaphama isn't just about reading - it's about experiencing stories, challenging perspectives, and engaging with thought leaders who are shaping our cultural landscape. From robotics masterclasses to political memoir launches, the festival offers something for everyone seeking intellectual stimulation and creative inspiration.
