Silent Book Club Harare is Zimbabwe's fastest-growing in-person reading community that meets in person twice a month, launched in March 2025. We've grown to over 800 Facebook members & 700 WhatsApp Community members with strong event attendance, including our largest gathering of 130 attendees at a single meetup. Our unique format brings readers together to read independently in shared silence, creating a powerful blend of individual focus and community connection in different venues in Harare.
We're planning our biggest meetup for the 5th of September, and this will be during the Radioactive Literature Market at Friendship Bench Hub. This means that this particular meetup won't be free like most of our events (Tickets are going for $3 for 1 / $5 for 2, and available here / Flippin Tickets).
