Where solitude meets community, and books become icebreakers
Silent Book Club Harare is Zimbabwe's fastest-growing in-person reading community that meets in person twice a month, launched in March 2025. We've grown to over 700 Facebook members & 700 WhatsApp Community members with strong event attendance, including our largest gathering of 130 attendees at a single meetup. Our unique format brings readers together to read independently in shared silence, creating a powerful blend of individual focus and community connection in different venues in Harare.
