Where solitude meets community, and books become icebreakers
Silent Book Club Harare is Zimbabwe's fastest-growing in-person reading community that meets in person once a month, launched in March 2025. We've grown to over 400 Facebook members & 500 WhatsApp Community members with strong event attendance, including our largest gathering of 130 attendees at a single meetup. Our unique format brings readers together to read independently in shared silence, creating a powerful blend of individual focus and community connection in different venues in Harare.
The Radioactive Blog proudly presents our 13th Silent Book Club event in Harare, hosted by Thuthukani Ndlovu (TK). We will continue to partner with Journalism Students Network of Zimbabwe, and look forward to seeing you soon. This will be our 2nd meetup for the 2026, so we can't wait to see you at Maize & Mingle Cafe (in Highlands).
